Red Ribbon Week - Poster Contest
Students are invited to draw a poster that visually represents one of the Red Ribbon Week themes. The themes can be found on the Student Council Bulletin Board outside room 115. These posters are to be turned in to room 115 by October 28th. Student Council will set up a display of the posters and a survey for voting at lunch on November 1st.

News from the Library
The Hixson library will be taking orders for Allegiant, which will count towards our book fair profit. Price, including tax, is $21.68. Cash and checks to WGSD are accepted and the book will be delivered the following school day.
If you didn’t find everything you wanted at the Scholastic Book Fair, you can shop more at Barnes & Noble at Ladue and West County this Saturday. If you mention Webster Groves School District when checking out, a portion of the sale will benefit our schools. You can also shop online through Oct. 31.
If you filled out a shopping list at the Book Fair, check the lists posted around school to see if your name was drawn for the opportunity of wrapping a Hixson teacher as a mummy at the All School Party on Friday.
