III. Discussion Topics
Umbrella Organization – Jason informed us that we need a Hixson representative from the PTO for the position.
Registration – Since the opt-in registration forms didn’t go as smoothly as hoped, they are considering changing the format to an event similar to the high school. There would be times available to come to the building to turn in forms, purchase P.E. uniforms, take photos, and pick up class schedules.Open House – It was suggested that all general information be covered in first hour.
Homework – Suggestion to have homework easily searchable or be sent out as texts.Bookfair – Volunteers are needed for this event. Online sign-ups will be used.
Conference Dinners – The PTO will be providing 2+ dinners for teachers and staff.
