The Hixson Middle School Summer School Program is designed to be
an exciting blend
of enrichment and learning support programs that will be an effective tool to
support students during their educational journey. All students will benefit from the rigorous, relevant, and fun
learning opportunities the staff has planned to support them with moving on
their academic pathways.
Hixson Summer School is a five week summer program that offers
classes designed to enhance and strengthen each student’s knowledge and
skills. This program is for middle school students who are entering 7th
and 8th grade. Students will be taking Communication Arts, Math, Reading, and
Maker's Space elective course offered for five weeks beginning June 2 and
ending July 3, 2014. Classes will be held at Webster Groves High School
Monday – Friday from 8:00 – 12:00 p.m. Click here for the summer school registration form.
This summer we have a number of new enrichment opportunities which
include attendance and reading incentive programs, field trips opportunities
& guest speakers.
