Hixson’s Festival of Fine Arts night is May 8th.
This year we are trying something new with the art show. The show
is featuring several very large scale pieces, including 4’ Barn Quilts, and a
variety of smaller artwork. All of it was hand crafted by 7th and 8th
grade students, and much of it is FOR SALE! Art students are
donating all of the proceeds made to support one of our teachers who is
currently fighting cancer. There will be a lot of beautiful things to look at
even if you aren’t interested in the auction. We hope to see you there!
