2014 National Drug Take-Back
Initiative Webster Groves Recreation Center will serve as a drug take-back site
on Saturday, April 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Other take-back sites are
located throughout the St. Louis area. Gather your expired or unwanted
medicines (prescription and over the counter), remove or mark out any personal
information (a permanent marker works well) and drop them off at a collection
site. If you put the drugs in a paper bag for drop-off, you can recycle the
prescription bottles.
Proper disposal of unwanted
drugs is important to keep our water and soil from being contaminated and to
prevent the medications from getting into the hands of those who might abuse
them or take them accidentally.
