Student Schedule Pick Up/ Registration/Chromebooks

Hello Hixson parents!

Just a reminder that 7th and 8th grade schedule pick up/Chromebook distribution/registration days are next week!  We are looking forward to starting another exciting school year on August 17th. 

  Student Registration Information:
Registration is open to parents and students to come and complete the following:
completing required paperwork, picking up chromebooks, picking up student schedules, and students are welcome to try their locker combination if they would like an early opportunity to practice :).

Parents, please visit to print the required registration paperwork for your student. If you are unable to print the forms, please come to Hixson during one of the dates/times below and pick up the packet of forms.  There will be space available at HMS to fill them out here if you wish.
----  8:30- 12:30 pm :Wednesday, August 5th- Grade 7 Parents, Last Name A-M
----  8:30- 12:30 pm: Thursday, August 6th- Grade 7 Parents, Last Name N-Z
----   7th Grade Parents: Please attend appropriate session above to turn in completed registration forms (on-line above) and pick up your child’s schedule
----  8:30- 12:30 pm :Friday, August 7th - Grade 8 Parents/ 7th grade parents not able to attend 8/5 or 8/6
----   8th Grade Parents: Please attend sessions above to turn in completed registration forms (on-line above) and pick up your child’s schedule
----  If you have questions or a concern after picking up your child’s schedule, please make an appointment in the main office to see an assistant principal or counselor on August 11th, 12th, or 13th from 8:30-3:30 to discuss your child’s schedule
----  August 11th, 12th, and 13th : 8:30-3:30- Registration for Parents of Hixson students who are new Webster Groves residents/ meetings with families with scheduling questions

Hixson Chromebook Orientation 

We are extremely excited to announce that our Chromebooks have arrived early!  A special thanks to our district technology coordinator and tech staff for the swift access and turn around on setting them up.

In an effort to share information about Chromebooks, get the devices to our learners prior to the start of school, and make this effort as streamlined as possible, we will make use of our schedule pick-up days: August 5th, 6th, and 7th to get paperwork submitted for the devices and get the devices to you.

We will follow the same release as the original directions for the day.  If you can not attend those dates we will also use August 10th between 8:30 and 12:30 to get you the information and devices.

August 5 - Grade 7 parents Last name A-M 8:30-12:30
August 6 - Grade 7 parents Last name N-Z 8:30-12:30
August 7 - Grade 8 parents 8:30-12:30

New Webster Groves Residents, after registration, will be able to get their get their paper work and orientation on August 11, 12, and 13.  We will have your computers ready to pick up on August 14th between 8:30 and 12:30.

Please note,
We cannot check a computer out to a student without the paperwork filled out and signed by a parent or guardian.
