We are in the swing of learning as our first term comes to a close at Hixson. We appreciate all of our students and families who support them each day in their learning and growing!
As you have heard, schools in the district were placed on modified lockdown today for a small period of time due to a reported shooting in Webster. WGPD and staff immediately sprang into action to take all precautions to keep our students' safety as priority number one. The lock down was lifted after a short period of time this morning as the WGPD cleared us. Thank you for your support and cooperation as we work together for our children!
