Hixson Highlights - October 23, 2015

From the Principal, Dr. Smith...
We are so very proud of our middle school students' maturity and outstanding behavior at our field trip to Ronnies on Tuesday for the documentary about the life of Malala Yousafzai. It was no small task taking 700 kiddos to the movies, but our amazing staff and students functioned like a well-oiled machine.  We are proud and thankful that we were able to bring this opportunity to our students!  Thank you to our parents as well for helping and supporting your middle school children as they learn and grow!

This afternoon is our All school party where, even with a boot on my leg, the children are teaching me to "dance the right way"!  Dr. Miller, Dr. Roberts, and I participated in the St. Louis Rock and Roll half marathon last weekend on Sunday...I hurt my ankle, but our other two principals are doing just fine :).

Please remember, there is no school on Friday October 30th for teacher professional development.
