Parent Teacher Conferences
Next week we will be hosting our annual Fall conferences. If you have not had the opportunity to sign up for a time to share a conversation with teachers, please click on the link below:

The conference schedule for next week:
Tuesday, 10/10: 4:00-8:00pm
Wednesday, 10/11: 1:00-3:30pm
Thursday, 10/12: 4:00-8:00pm
I'm excited to also have this time to meet folks and share conversations too. The administrators and counselors will be set up in front of the main office during conferences. On Thursday, I will be out of the building for a previous commitment from 4:30pm-7:30pm. I'll be present and available during the rest of the conference days.
Hixson STUCO will be selling Hixson fleece lined pullovers during conferences. Proceeds will go toward funding the many projects and ideas the Student Council has been developing this year. Some of the projects include: Festival of Nations, Red Ribbon Week activities, school parties/dances, Cookies for Courage and donation drives to help aid those affected by the many natural disasters earlier this year.

Please bring cash or check to purchase a pullover during conferences. STUCO students will be displaying the pullovers and taking orders throughout the three days. Our students thank you in advance for the support!
PTO Meeting
PTO will be hosting a meeting on Wednesday, October 11th, at 7:00pm in the cafeteria. Please join us as we talk about the upcoming fundraiser and other items connected to our school.
District Meeting
The Webster Groves School District invites residents to the State of the School District
presentation

WGHS Community Open House
Webster Groves High School invites you to attend its annual Community Open House on Sunday, November 5th from 1-3pm. Join us for a tour of the building, hear from our staff and students and imagine your exciting future as a Statesman!
A gentle reminder to please watch out for cars dropping students off and also for students walking through the parking lots to school. There have been numerous concerns voiced about cars who are driving throughout the lots while kids are walking or being dropped off as well as driving fast through the lots.
Hixson Kids on the Move
Thank you to our awesome 8th grade Jazz Band students and directors, Mr. Stevison and Ms. Tokos, for performing at the Rotary Club's annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser this morning. They were amazing and added great festivity to the event! Our kids are very talented and represented our Hixson pride this morning.
