We have had a great week of learning at HMS this week! From hot air balloons and hour of code to students writing their own novels and two great band concerts!
Don't forget the HMS Play "Stories from Wayside School" will be performed tonight at 7pm as well as tomorrow evening! Please join us, our cast and crew are amazing!
Thanks to you and our caring and compassionate students for the generous contributions you've been making to our holiday baskets. It is nice to see everyone in the spirit of giving and spreading joy to others.
As we are gearing up for winter break, we are taking time to focus on learning and growing in all we do. Next week we have our "Sounds of Hixson" concert Tuesday evening the 16th at 6:30 pm. We hope to see you there!
Our Friends of Rachel Club meeting is this Wednesday December 17th from 3:15-4:00. This meeting will be open for students to have conversations about current events in our communities. Students are welcome to attend to have their voices be heard among their peers. The counselors will mediate the conversation and focus on how our acts of kindness can help bring Hixson together and be an example for our community.
