Fall Conferences - Next Week!
7th grade parents: Please schedule a conference with your child's team. This conference will be with your child's English, Math, Science, and Social Studies teachers. Please schedule separate conferences with your child's elective teachers.
8th grade parents: Math teachers will be meeting separately from team teachers. Please schedule a conference with your child's team and additional conferences with your child's math teacher and elective teachers.

Scholastic Book Fair - October 5 - 14
Be sure to visit the library during conferences to purchase a book for you or your middle schooler from the Hixson Book Fair! Before conferences, you will receive an email from the book fair with your child's wish list. Hixson's Fall Party - October 23rd
Students are invited to join their friends for pizza, music, movies, games, and photo booth fun! Hixson's all-school party is on October 23rd from 3:30-5:00. The cost for student attendance is $5.
Students may pay for the party at lunch October 19-22. If you would like to pay for your child to attend online, please click here.

Trivia Night - THANK YOU!
Thank you to all who donated, participated, and supported Hixson's trivia night. We raised enough funds to bring the Rachel's Challenge program back to Hixson this fall!
Our counselors are working on scheduling a date in early November for the Rachel's Challenge assemblies. Stay tuned for updates - the program also includes a community night in which parents are invited to come learn about the Challenge and how they can help Hixson promote kindness!
WGSD Superintendent Search Survey

Save the Date Oct. 17
The 2015 Ivory Crockett Run for Webster will be Sun., Oct. 17. This year, the run features a one-mile fun run/walk, a 5K and kid’s 100-yard dash. Enjoy a pancake breakfast after the race and an array of children’s activities in the High School cafeteria.
