8th grade Parent Night at Webster Groves High School
On the evening of Wednesday, January 20th, the
staff of Webster Groves High School invites the families of current 8th
graders to learn more about the experiences your child(ren) will have as
Statesmen. This is an informative event that will include: an introduction to
WGHS, celebrations about our students and staff, an outline of the scheduling
process, a chance to hear from teachers about courses available in each
department, and a list of important dates throughout the spring and summer. A
brief agenda of the evening follows:

6:30pm—meet with students, coaches and
sponsors from various clubs, activities and sports
·
7:00—General information session
·
8:15—Meet with your child’s counselor and
Assistant Principal
·
8:45—WGHS faculty is available for further
questions

Help Us Share the Good News
We’re
looking for at least five parent volunteers from each school who would be
willing to help share the good news about the Webster Groves School District
this year by Facebook and other social media. Cathy Vespereny, the district’s
community relations director, will provide news items on a regular basis and
the volunteers would help promote the news electronically. If you’re interested
in helping with this, please e-mail Cathy at vespereny.cathy@wgmail.org and let
her know which school you represent.
