Holiday House Tour-PTO
Thank you, thank you, thank you to the amazing parents, donors and supporters of the annual Holiday House Tour! It was an awesome event on a beautiful day. For months, I've witnessed the tireless efforts of parents organizing every detail for this big event. Hixson appreciates it and we are grateful for the care and support.
NEXT PTO meeting will be on Wednesday, December 13th at 8:45am in the Library. Please join us as we talk about future items for our kids.
Hixpressions
Hixpressions is a student-run clothing business. A small group of kids from both 7th and 8th grade work together to learn how to run a small business as well as learn how to screen print t-shirts. This is a group of very dedicated students who put the time in during and after the school day to produce good quality products.

Schnucks GIVING Bag Fundraiser
Schnucks has chosen Hixson as its recipient of Giving Bag funds for the entire month of December. Stop by Schnucks and purchase the GIVING BAG and the money will come back to our kids. It's an easy way to help the environment and our school!

JETs Pizza Fundraiser
Our next Hixson Pizza night at JETs is Thursday, December 14th. Just let the JETs folks know you are supporting Hixson and they will credit 20% of the sales back to our school.

Practice MAP Assessment
A couple of weeks ago, you received communication from the district regarding our participation in taking the practice MAP Assessment. Hixson will be administering the tests on January 4th and January 5th. On Thursday, January 4th, only 8th grade will be taking the Science assessment. On Friday, January 5th, ALL students will be taking the ELA and Math assessments.
Please help us by making sure your child's Chromebook is charged and at school on both the days. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
