Good Afternoon Hixson Families,
I hope everyone had a nice break reconnecting with each other. Kids have jumped back into their routines and our school is humming with their energy. Here are a handful of updates as we jump back into the swing of things.
Holiday House Tour REFRESHMENTS Needs Your Help
We need your help! Can you help with the refreshments for this year's Hixson
Holiday House Tour - Sunday, December 3rd? As well as being a
long-standing community tradition, this is Hixson's largest fundraiser!
Let us know (via the sign up link below) whether you will be
preparing or providing an Appetizer/Savory
Snack or Cookies/Dessert.
Refreshments can be dropped
off at Hixson (where the boutique and refreshments will be) between
9:30am-10:30am on December 3rd or if needed, at my house on December 2nd (542 Hollywood Place, 63119 - there will be a cooler on the
porch).
All refreshments will be transferred to serving platters, so disposable
containers are appreciated.
2 dozen is the standard contribution,
but given we've run out in the last few years (leading to expensive runs (3
times last year!)- to Schnucks for more treats and thus less profit).
Please consider contributing more! Also if you know anyone who would like
to contribute - please forward this message!
Along with refreshment donations, we need of volunteers to help with refilling food platters
& pouring coffee and the infamous House Tour Cranberry Tea
at the beverage table. If you are able to help, please sign up for a 2-hour shift via
the sign up link. Also, if your 7th/8th grade child (or child with a friend)
would like to volunteer with you, that’s great (sign them up via the Sign Up
link)... it’s nice for the tour-takers to see who they are supporting!

Schnucks GIVING Bag Fundraiser
Schnucks has chosen Hixson Middle as their GIVING Bag recipient. For the entire month of December, you can support our school by purchasing a GIVING Bag. All proceeds will be donated to Hixson. Each GIVING Bag is $1.00 and comes to us. Thank you in advance for your support!
