I hope everyone had a wonderful four day weekend, relaxing and reconnecting with each other. Long breaks like the one we had are great to recharge and get some needed rest. Here are a handful of items for the week to come:
PTO Meeting
PTO will be meeting on Wednesday, 2/21/18 at 7:00pm in the Library. Please join our PTO as they talk about ways to support kids and teachers.
Rock and Roll BINGO
Hixson teachers need YOU (and all your friends) to join them for a night of fun playing Rock and Roll Bingo! All money raised will go to the Hixson Social Courtesy as well as student activity fund. Steger Visits and 8th grade Course Selection
This week we are welcoming our next class of 7th graders. Steger students are visiting Hixson for their annual tours and information on signing up for courses.
7th grade Parent Orientation for our incoming Steger students will be on Tuesday, 2/27 from 6-8pm. We look forward to meeting our new soon to be Hixson parents.
Next Wednesday, 2/28, our soon to be 8th graders will be getting a visit from the counselors and administrators to talk about course selections for next year. We are excited to talk with students about their options and answer questions. Be on the lookout for course selection guides to come home next Wednesday.
