Dear Hixson Families,
It is hard to believe that in a couple of weeks school will be starting! We have been busy around Hixson getting the building ready to welcome back kids. For those of you familiar with Hixson, you will notice some physical changes to our classrooms and hallways. Our classrooms have also been reorganized to place team teachers together as well as departments. We are excited to welcome you back to walk the building, move into lockers, and meet teachers on Thursday, August 9th from 2:00-6:00pm.
This year, I will continue to communicate bi-weekly. A link to the bi-weekly newsletter will be sent out to your email addresses through school messenger. The link will also be shared out on our Facebook page and our website. This first newsletter, found at the link below, is full of information as we prepare to start our new year together and is a bit more packed than usual.
I hope this summer newsletter finds you relaxing and enjoying the slower pace of life that comes with a break as you spend time with each other. I am looking forward to seeing everyone soon!
