Student News
If you recall on Tuesday, 3 students challenged you to figure out  How many water bottles the US throw away each day, they are back with the answer, and a new question.
The answer from yesterday was 60 million plastic water bottles are thrown away each day in the US.
We throw away a lot of plastic water bottles each day. Many of them end up in landfills. Yesterday's winner was Michael Pingel! Congratulations, come to the office after school to receive your prize!
Our question today is:
How many tons of plastic are in landfills each year?

Submit your responses in the office for your chance to win.
