2017
The last two
days have been a frenzy of forms, school supplies, Chromebooks and the grand
reveal of schedules and teams. The
registration days gave me the opportunity to meet folks, share some great
conversations and watch the entire process of this day unfold. I was able to make note of some key things and
will be applying it to next year’s registration process. I also appreciated the feedback received and
will work to make these days more convenient for families.
The coolest
part of registration for me was actually meeting kids and parents and sharing brief
conversations in between handing out schedules.
I am excited. The energy and
excitement was contagious and the welcome warm.
I would also
like to thank our amazing custodial staff, support staff, assistant principals,
counselors, nurse, technology staff and teacher volunteers. Registrations Days could not happen without our entire school family!
As the
precious days of summer begin to dwindle down, here are some things to take
note for the next few weeks:
- · Monday, August 7th from 8:30-11:30am and 12:30-3:30pm is a Make Up Registration Day for both grades
If you are unable to make this day, please contact your grade level
principal and we will make
sure you get all the things your child needs. Dr. Aimee Vogt is the 7th grade
principal and Dr.
Todd Roberts is the 8th grade principal.
- · Tuesday, August 15th is THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!
- · Monday, August 21st is the Solar Eclipse
More information about this exciting event will be sent out
in the next week. Our Science teachers
are hard at work to get the entire faculty ready for this monumental day.
- · Thursday, August 31 is Open House at 6:00pm
Thank you everyone
for the warm welcome to the Webster Community!
I appreciate your kind words and excitement and share the same sentiments.
As always,
please do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything.
With
Gratitude,
Grace
